Dr. Rome's specialty in Electrophysiology is an integral part of the full range of cardiovascular services provided by the Cardiac Study Center. Fully trained as a general cardiologist, Dr. Rome went on to complete an additional two year Fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at a world renowned center. He provides his patients a state of the art approach with personalized care for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias (irregular heart rhythms).

Dr. Rome is married and has two children. He and his family enjoy outdoor Northwest activities such as camping, backpacking, bicycling, and gardening.

Dr. Rome has served physicians and staff at Cardiac Study Center as Medical Director since January of 2005. He and his wife give generously of their time and assets to the Clinic's community outreach programs: American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, and McKinley Elementary School, among others.

   
 
PRACTICE FOCUS:
Electrophysiology service: syncope evaluation, arrhythmia evaluation and management, intracardiac electrophysiology studies and radiofrequency catheter ablation, pacemaker implantation and followup, intracardiac defibrillator implantation, a heart failure device, and follow-up.
