CLINICAL EXPERIENCE:
Kathleen Marks, Nurse Practitioner in the Electrophysiology and Device Clinic at Cardiac Study Center, first developed an interest in Cardiology while practicing as a critical care nurse. As her interest in the field grew, she changed her focus from ICU Nursing to Cardiology. The opportunity to expand her role and be involved in more aspects of patient care then attracted Kathleen to Advanced Practice Nursing. The Electrophysiology and Device Clinic at Cardiac Study Center provides expertise in areas such as evaluation of pacemakers and defibrillators, and tilt table testing. The Clinic is actively involved in research; patients benefit from the latest advances in the field.
