Do I need a referral to see a physician?

Yes, to see one of the physicians at Cardiac Study Center, you must have a referral from another physician. While referrals usually come from your primary care provider, sometimes the referral is from another specialist. The referral lets our physicians know exactly what service they are to provide and what records we need to request. In addition, many insurance plans require referrals for specialist services.

How do I schedule an appointment with a physician?

Please contact your primary care provider and ask him or her for a referral to our office. Even if your insurance does not require you to get a referral to see a cardiologist, it is our physicians’ policy that potential patients go through an already established medical care provider. Cardiac Study Center at this time does not accept patients based on a self referral.

Business Hours

Cardiac Study Center is open Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm and is closed on most major holidays. There is an after hours paging service that puts our patients directly in touch with one of our 16 physicians in the event of an emergency.
